Sketchfest catch up

I'm so trying to catch up on the sketchfest that is going on over at Serendipity scrapbooks. I've only created two layouts, but I've printed 10 more sketches I hope to get at least 5 more. Also there's a new recipe challenge over at sketches by Tamara, here's my take on it.

I've taken the plunge

I decided to try out for Serendipity Scrapbooks Design Team. Funny how I thought I needed a break well 2 months is enough of a break for me. I miss the anticipation of getting a kit to work with. So wish me luck ladies, you never know unless you try right.
Here are the 2 new layouts I created yesterday for this call! I love them both for different reasons.

Using up my Christmas pattern paper

Created this layout for the recipe challenge over at Sketches by Tamara the recipe was to use 3 strips of pp, distress edges, and a tag. this is my take, figured I would just start using some of my Christmas pattern paper cause I have so much.

Happy New Year!!

Well I sure wish you all a very Happy New Year, I'd have to say that the last year has been overwhelming and I'm so glad for the new year. It has started out a little rough for those of you who don't know Chris has been in & out of the hospital, doctor's office and the truth is that I'm an emotional wreck. With that said I'm looking forward to this year and I pray that things get better soon.

Now for our Dreamgirls Challenge, we begin this Challenge with the word NEW and using my favorite colors to scrap, Black & White. The only other color you can use is with your handmade embellie. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.
