a mothers worst nightmare
Ladies my 19 yr od dd was attacked yesterday on her way to work. Apparantly some guy started following her, and asked her for her name of course she wasn't going to give it to him. He kept on harrassing her and then beat her until she finally gave him a fake name. I am crying as I write this. She's home, but we have to go look at mugshots today. This has been so very traumatic for the family. Of course my dh wants to kill somebody, my 13yr old dd couldn't sleep last night she kept crying as did the one that was attacked. I don't understand, the guy even followed her right into her job, and then realized there were cameras and fled. Please pray she has some swelling on her face, and the doctor said she may even get a black eye. She fell when he beat her and her hip is hurting. The worst part is that there was no one on the street, and the passing cars just honked but didn't stop to help her. It was in a high class residential, 86th and 3rd Avenue. Just some A**hole with nothing better to do. I am so sorry I am just babbling.

Oh Dolores I'm SO sorry!!! I can't even begin to imagine what that must be like for you and your family! It's totally understandable to be experiencing the fear, the anger, and the desperation of it all! I'll pray that you catch that guy, and that your daughter(s) can regain some sense of security.

yes, this is every mother's worst nightmare and I so feel for your daughter, you and the rest of your family. I have an 18 year old girl myself, and it's something that runs through my head every now and again. I hope she'll be able to identify the guy and that he gets caught!! You're in my thoughts.

Oh my lord...Oh my. This is simply unbelievable! How truly horrific. I hope they find that asshole (sorry). I hope they do. I pray your daughter heals and emotionally, now that is another story. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts.

Oh...my...goodness! I'm so sorry to hear this and so thankful that something worse didn't happen to her! I hope that bastard gets exactly what he deserves!
