Today is Emily's 16th birthday

I can't believe how fast time has flown by, I remember clearly the day she was born. I guess all mothers do. she was by far the blondest baby in the nursery. She was absolutely beautiful, and now she is even more beautiful as she continues to grow into a bright young lady. Let me tell you a little about Emily she is my third child, she is the more sentimental one though she would'nt admit this to anyone. She sometimes has attitude LOL but hey it comes with the territory of being a teenager and the middle sister. She is loving and protective towards her siblings, but boy they can fight too. LOL. She is still Daddy's little girl, and loves the attention. LOL Emily is definitely Sweet Sixteen, here are a few photos of then and now

for me this one was hard, not the challenge itself but the layout. I have been thinking about my brother who passed away a little over 3 yrs ago. Then I found this photo of him at my oldest daughters sweet sixteen he was so happy to be there and share in the joy.

Oh I am on the move

I am so enjoying my me time, my scrappy time, my therapy a glass of wine with some adhesive, pattern papers and photos and I am on the move. I have been so inspired lately and I love this feeling. I love creating. So I decided to be part of the Treasured Scrapbooking Members Contest, I thought this would be a great way to continue getting my MOJO going! it sure feels good to get my scrap mojo once again. I love it!! I created these 2 layouts last night, funny thing is that I was creating so I can submit to Graphic 45 DT call, yes I am a procrastinator I love waiting for the last minute to complete things. I was so inspired by the Pattern Papers and the lines I had, I didn't want to stop to load pics or to submit. Can you BELIEVE it!!! I didn't even submit them, but I found that I enjoy the vintage look, shabby chic. Love it! So now that I have extra paper I am going to try and create a mini book! Here are my 2 layouts
